Father's Day

Dads sure have big shoes to fill, don't they?

That's why it's so great to celebrate them on a day just for dads. Waaaaaay back in June, we had a special Father's Day with our main man!

We gave Michael some traditional Father's Day gifts - clothes and beer! - along with some special art the girls made. These were probably the best gift of all though: smooches!

It was a beautiful day, so after church and lunch we enjoyed the sunshine and blue skies at a local park.

But you know what? These pictures are undoubtedly a reflection of the other 364 days a year, too. I love Michael for his active, engaged approach to parenting. He brings tons of life and love to our family and he pours so much of himself into fatherhood; it's an honor to partner with him in this life of ours. An amazing guy and two make that three lucky girls.
