Here it is Sunday night and I am just getting around to posting about last weekend. Golly - the days just zip on by, don't they?! Anyway, we had a ton of fun last weekend. Kendall met another VIP in our family: Uncle Mitch (or Uncle Buck as we affectionately call him :) Katelyn had been talking about his visit for weeks and, not surprisingly, had a blast with him; we all did!
On Friday, we picked Michael up downtown and had lunch along the Mississippi riverfront. The place had fresh popcorn; we ate an obscene amount it was our appetizer.
Katelyn and "Uncle Mitz" (as she says) enjoyed strolling hand in hand along St. Anthony Main. Aren't they a darling duo?
Michael went back to work for a few more hours and we headed home. Uncle Mitch and Kendall spent some time getting to know each other :)
Katelyn likes to create masterpieces with "water paints." She loves blue. The two blue ovals are almost gone while the other colors have not been touched. Mitch and Kate had fun painting together - with blue, of course.
Saturday morning was chilly and windy, but we braved the elements and visited a nearby pumpkin patch. It has a giant bouncy house pumpkin, a corn pool, a plethora of pumpkins, and a corn maze.
Katelyn spent most of her time in the bouncy pumpkin. Kendall was with us too, but you wouldn't know it. She was nuzzled up close in the carrier (her favorite spot) and didn't make a peep. She and Mitch both wore their hoods...
Then it was time for Katelyn to move on to the "popcorn pool" as she called it. Our appetizer made an impression!
We spent the rest of the day playing and enjoying the last few hours of Uncle Buck's visit.
Since we have at least one dance party a day, Mitch got to partake! Weeeeee!
Uncle Mitch with his two nieces. Warms my heart!
Mitch sent me this little collage from pics he took on his phone...
We all had a great time with Uncle Mitch and were sad to see him go back to Chicago. Since his visit, whenever we're coloring and Katelyn asks me to draw our family it usually goes like this: Daddy, Uncle Mitch, Mommy, Kate, Kendall, and Malone. ♥

What a fun time with Uncle Mitch (Mitz)! Popcorn, punkins, and dancing!
Looks like a great time was had by all! Katelyn, you look so snazzy in your pink fur coat, matching boots and sunglasses! Kendall, I bet Uncle Mitch loved your big toothless smiles and great kicking skills!
I am soooo incredibly honored to be officially named as a part of your IMMEDIATE family, Katelyn!
What a fun weekend and it was great to meet Kendall... thanks for having me!
