Ahhh! Another Sunday night upon us and I have yet to post about last weekend's fun. October is proving to be chock full of good times and great memories with different visitors coming to Plymouth every weekend of the month. We love it and so enjoy the sweet time together. Last weekend we welcomed guests Uncle Jason, Aunt Cassie, and Cousin Emerson all the way from Illinois!
Both Emerson and Katelyn have grown so much since our last get together. Emerson is now walking like a pro and Katelyn taught her some dance moves and gave a little tutorial on how to play doctor and hide and seek (just hide under a blanket ;)
It was a blast to see the girls play together again. They both loved the same baby doll, so we spent lots of time taking turns and pushing her in the baby stroller.

On Saturday morning, we went back to the pumpkin patch we took Uncle Mitch to the weekend prior. It's close, inexpensive, and offers a lot of fun, so why not hit it up again? The hundreds of pumpkins in the patch didn't hold a candle to our very own snuggly pumpkin :) That adorable lid is courtesy of Aunt Cassie.
The girls had fun in the (cold!) corn pool. Katelyn did lots of "jumping in" from the ledge and Emerson enjoyed playing around in it.

Ring around the rosy is always a good time; especially with a 6-foot tall, grown man ;) Daddy and Uncle of the year!
After the girls took their naps, we embarked on adventure #2 for the day: Mall of America for rides! Jason and Katelyn rode the Blue's Clues ride together, while Cassie and Emerson rode behind them.
If you're wondering what Kendall's usually doing during all of these activities, here's a look. She loves the carrier and took in the sights of the amusement park for the first 15 minutes or so and then slept like a rock for the duration of the afternoon. Such a snuggle bunny.

Next up, a ride on "Azul" the blue train from Dora the Explorer. Can't really see the dads, but they squeezed into the little train car too!
We closed out the day with fun at home...
The girls took a bubble bath together and then slept like rocks. Once the girls were down for the night, we enjoyed dinner, conversation, laughs, drinks, and dessert. Michael and I said it felt like an at-home double date! So much fun to catch up!

We had such a great weekend with this wonderful family that we're lucky enough to call our relatives.

Cousins are very special friends indeed! Some of my favorite memories from my childhood involved my cousins. Katelyn, I love your look of excitement on the carousel!!
