Our favorite guy celebrates a birthday today! It's the big 3-1 for Michael and it's always fun when a birthday falls over the weekend since that means more days to celebrate the occasion. We had a busy day and were on the go for most of it, but we got a few birthday pictures right before Katelyn went to bed tonight...
We did some shopping at REI for the birthday boy, but the truth is, this birthday squeeze was by far the best gift of the day!
On Friday night, the two of us went out for dinner to celebrate the birthday (my parents were in town to stay with Katelyn - more on that visit in a future post). We went to a country-themed bar, ate dinner, had some drinks, and then enjoyed some live music. Good times - even though neither one of us wore cowboy boots or a big belt buckle :)
