Happy Halloween!

Hope you all had a spooky and sweet Halloween! Our little winged friends (bumblebee and butterfly) sure had fun dressing up and trick-or-treating door-to-door for goodies.

Kendall was cozy in her costume, which is a good match for these Minnesota temps!

Couldn't resist taking a couple pictures before hitting the neighborhood!

Getting our game faces on for the fun! This was Katelyn's first time going door-to-door, so we've been practicing "trick or treat" and "happy Halloween" for many days.

The four of us went around to the houses on our cul-de-sac and then Kendall and I went home to bed (me) and to answer the door (Kendall) - ha, ha! ;)

Katelyn loved the whole Halloween concept and every time we departed from a house she said, "I want to go to another house for twick or tweeting!" She and Michael stayed out for a solid hour and had the pile of treats to prove it.

We let her choose one treat to have that night and she selected a Tootsie Pop. She loves suckers! Can you tell?

Candy is not a regular thing in our house (for Katelyn anyway; can't say the same for mom and dad!) So she can choose one piece a day to enjoy and today she chose Jelly Belly's. Maybe she's not a chocolate fan... is this my child?!

For Halloween lunch, we had breakfast foods including ghost pancakes. Boo! :)

On Friday, we went to a Fall Festival Carnival at a friend's church. Katelyn enjoyed wearing her costume and playing the games.

She really liked the fishing game. She played it four times and got four packs of Goldfish crackers!

Farmer Katelyn!

We hope you enjoyed Halloween and November is off to a great start!

Two cute bugs, that's for sure! Looks like you had a great time "twick or tweating!"
